Requirements:

EXPERIENCED Registered doctors, nursing staff and advanced and intermediate life support paramedics, with a valid ACLS certificate is a pre-entry requirement.

Duration:

2 Days 8:00 - 18:00

Contents:

• Cardiac arrest and peri-arrest conditions eg bradycardias and tachycardias

• Acute Coronary Syndromes

• Special situations eg drug overdose, trauma, electrocution, drowning, anaphylaxis, asthma, electrolyte imbalances and blood gasses.

Test:

There is an official exam at the beginning of the course.

Certificate:

On successful completion, each candidate receives a certificate which is valid for 2 years and internationally recognized.

CPD points:

30 CPD (CEU) points which includes 2 ethics points.

Learners should receive the prescribed manual at least 6 weeks prior to the course to prepare and benefit maximal from the course.
