The North West University’s Faculty of Health Sciences, brought to life the Advanced Life Support training Center in 2021. This Training Centre focusses on short courses in Emergency medical care and aims to bring current evidence-based medicine to all the participants who attend a course at the venue in Potchefstroom.

All the courses on offer are CPD accredited. The center is accredited, both nationally and internationally, by entities such as:

• American Heart Association
• Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa
• International Trauma Life Support
• American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP)
• National Association of EMS Physicians (NAEMSP)
